COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 We depart our home area and travel to Cornwall making suitable comfort stops along the way, including a time to purchase lunch in Shaftesbury. We are welcomed at the hotel with a cup of tea/ coffee and have time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast we travel to vibrant Truro, the only City in Cornwall. We have time to explore with an opportunity to purchase lunch here before heading to Mevagissey, an attractive old town boasting a twin harbour. We arrive back at the hotel late afternoon in time to relax before our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast we make our way to the Boconnoc Estate for the Spring Cornwall Flower Show. The show takes place in the magnificent grounds of this 18th century stately home and is a celebration of Cornwall’s rich garden heritage. It’s a great place to pick up top-quality plants, marvel at the professional garden displays and ask the experts what would grow best in your own garden.
DAY 4 After breakfast we head for the North Cornwall coast and visit Tintagel. This is a spectacular place, steeped in myths and mystery, and has inspired artists and writers throughout history who have associated it with the legend of King Arthur. Afterwards we head along the coast to visit Padstow, a charming fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches. There are many places to eat in this idyllic town. In the afternoon visit Newquay, perched on Cornwall’s Atlantic cliffs and borders 7 miles of golden sandy beaches. This is one of the nation’s favourite seaside towns. There are plenty of places to purchase afternoon tea before returning to the hotel ready for our evening meal.
DAY 5 After breakfast we travel back to home area making suitable comfort stops, stopping in Winchester for lunch to be purchased.
