Isle of Wight Escape
Escape to the Isle of Wight for a relaxing coastal break with charming towns, scenic views, optional royal history, and live entertainment – all just a short ferry ride away.
Day1
We begin with a scenic drive to the south coast before boarding the ferry to the Isle of Wight. On arrival, we travel to our hotel in Sandown, a traditional seaside town with a golden beach and charming esplanade. Settle in, then enjoy dinner and evening entertainment.
DDay 2
After breakfast, visit Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s seaside retreat (entry extra, free for English Heritage members), or join our excursion to Ryde with its sandy beach, cafés, shops, and historic pier. Return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment.
B, DDay 3
A free day to enjoy Sandown at your own pace. Relax by the sea, stroll the esplanade, or explore attractions such as Dinosaur Isle or the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary. Dinner and entertainment at the hotel.
B, DDay 4
A guided island tour including Yarmouth’s pretty harbour, Alum Bay’s striking multi-coloured cliffs and the famous Needles, before continuing to Godshill, a picture-perfect village with thatched cottages and tearooms. Evening meal and entertainment at the hotel.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast, we take the ferry back to the mainland and stop in historic Winchester, with time to explore the cathedral city before completing our journey home.

The 3-star Trouville Hotel has a prominent position overlooking the glorious Sandown Bay. There is a lovely lounge area to relax in or to enjoy a pre- dinner drink before our evening meal. There is superb choice of evening meals served by their friendly waiting staff. There is a lift to all floors.
