Fantastic Beasts & City Treats, Yorkshire

Day 1

Depart home area making suitable comfort stops, including lunch at Boundary Mills, Grantham. We arrive at our hotel with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

We start our day in Lincoln and visit the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. This gothic building dates back to the 11th century, our visit includes a 1-hour Floor Tour where an expert guide reveals hundreds of years of history. We have time to explore the city and purchase lunch before our guided canal cruise. Take in the sights of Lincoln and the surrounding countryside while enjoying entertaining commentary.

Day 3

Today we make the most of our unique accommodation with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we’re in for a ‘roarsome’ day with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the only polar bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other critters to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more!

Day 4

After breakfast we depart for York. Today is spent at leisure, perhaps visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, The Shambles, take a cruise on the River Ouse, or visit one of the many other attractions York has to offer (entries extra). There are many eateries to obtain lunch or refreshments.

Day 5

After breakfast, we make our way home stopping in Stamford for lunch to be obtained.
