Day 1

Travel to the beautiful cathedral city of Ely, where there will be time for some shopping and sightseeing, and to obtain lunch. Ely offers a delightful choice of independent shops, cafés, and restaurants, as well as the magnificent Cathedral and scenic riverside walks. We continue to our hotel near Grantham.

Day 2

After breakfast, we make the short journey to Belvoir Castle, one of England’s most majestic stately homes, resplendent in festive décor. On arrival, enjoy morning coffee or tea, and biscuits before beginning our visit. Inside, each room is dressed in spectacular Regency Christmas style, with elegant trees, twinkling lights, roaring fires, and lavish decorations. There will be time to browse the festive courtyard, shop, and café, offering seasonal gifts and local treats, before we rejoin the coach and return to our home area.
