We recommend these 5 things to do in Chester:

Walk the Roman City Walls -Explore nearly the entire circuit of England's most complete Roman walls, offering historical insights and great views of the city and its Tudor-style Rows below.

Wander the Chester Rows - Discover unique medieval, two-tiered shopping galleries filled with independent shops and cafes, perfect for browsing on a crisp autumn day.

Visit Chester Cathedral - Admire its stunning architecture, explore its history, and for a special view, climb the tower for panoramic autumn vistas of the city and surrounding counties.

Experience Roman Chester - Step back in time at the Deva Roman Experience or the Roman Amphitheatre to see impressive archaeological remains and learn about the city's ancient past.

Relax by the River Dee -  Take a scenic boat trip with ChesterBoat or enjoy a leisurely walk along the riverbanks, soaking in the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere.
