Broadstairs is a wonderful mixture of Victorian architecture, hidden cobbled squares, cliff top walks and sandy beaches, it is a joy to explore! There are a delightful range of independent shops in the traditional high street, mini golf, beachside cafés and cosmopolitan restaurants, plus a gem of a cinema. The novelist Charles Dickens spent several summers in Broadstairs, ‘Nicholas Nickleby’ and ‘The Old Curiosity Shop’ were completed here and this pleasant resort has lost none of its old fashioned charm.
