Broadstairs is a wonderful mixture of Victorian architecture, hidden cobbled squares, cliff top walks and sandy beaches, it is a joy to explore! There are a delightful range of independent shops in the traditional high street, mini golf, beachside cafés and cosmopolitan restaurants, plus a gem of a cinema. The novelist Charles Dickens spent several summers in Broadstairs, Nicholas Nickleby and The Old Curiosity Shop were completed here and this pleasant resort has lost none of its old fashioned charm.
Heres our recommendation of what to see and do whilst visiting...

Broadstairs High Street & Independent Shops
Just a short walk from the seafront, the High Street offers a wonderful mix of independent shops, boutiques, and local cafés.
