Babbacombe, South Devon

If you do like to be beside the seaside, then join us on this holiday to South Devon! Our hotel is ideally situated on the Babbacombe promenade with palm trees overlooking the azure waters with fabulous views across The Downs and the Cliff Railway to Oddicombe Beach.

Day 1

Depart home area stopping in Salisbury to purchase lunch before continuing to our hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a free morning in Babbacombe. This afternoon we travel a short distance to Torquay where we can talk a walk around the Marina, Harbour and shops. We can board a land train that takes us around the tourist spots with commentary (extra cost).

Day 3

After breakfast we visit Paignton, a delightful seaside town nestled on the western shores of Tor Bay. There are lovely shops and restaurants to purchase morning refreshments. This afternoon we visit Dartmouth, an enchanting town with pastel coloured houses crammed on tree-cloaked hillsides rising above the harbour.

Day 4

This morning we visit some fury friendlies at Sidmouth’s Donkey Sanctuary, for over 50 years they have worked to transform the lives of these animals across the world. This afternoon we visit Teignmouth, a stunning coastal town with historic Georgian buildings, sandy beaches and fresh local food

Day 5

We bid farewell to Babbacombe and return to home area making suitable comfort stops on route.
