Day 1

Cross the channel into Belgium and explore the fairytale-like historic centre of Ghent. Enjoy time for shopping and lunch before arriving at our hotel, where a warm welcome awaits with a glass of beer, wine, or soft drink.

Day 2

Day at leisure in Amsterdam or enjoy an optional visit to Zaanse Schans, a charming open-air village (entry extra). Wander among historic windmills, traditional wooden houses, and watch live demonstrations of clog- and cheese-making. Capture the nostalgic Dutch atmosphere before heading to Haarlem, with its cobbled streets, Grote Markt, boutique shops, and cosy cafés. In late November, the city sparkles with early festive lights and seasonal stalls. Pause for lunch and enjoy some free time before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Discover Amsterdam, transformed into a sparkling festive wonderland. Explore Christmas markets brimming with artisan gifts, mulled wine, and seasonal treats. Stroll along canals lined with twinkling lights and historic buildings. In the evening, enjoy a scenic canal cruise showcasing the Amsterdam Festival of Lights, where stunning illuminated artworks and bridges create a magical winter spectacle.

Day 4

Stop at Clara Maria’s Cheese and Clog Factory to see traditional crafts and taste local cheeses and to purchase that last minute gift before journeying home, making a comfort stop enroute.
