Day 1

Cross the Channel and travel through France and Belgium with suitable refreshment stops before arriving at our overnight hotel, the Pentahotel Wiesbaden, in time for dinner.

Day 2

We travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, stopping first in the historic city of Würzburg. Enjoy free time to stroll across the famous Alte Main Bridge or wander through the beautiful Residenz gardens. We then continue along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg for our three-night stay. This evening, why not join Karen on the entertaining Night Watchman Tour (payable locally), bringing the town's medieval history and legends to life.

Day 3

Enjoy a day at leisure in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of Germany's finest medieval towns. Explore its cobbled streets, colourful half-timbered houses, historic Market Square and traditional cafés, or simply soak up the atmosphere within the ancient town walls.

Day 4

Our scenic excursion visits magnificent Harburg Castle, one of Germany's best-preserved medieval fortresses, before continuing to the charming walled town of Dinkelsbühl and the attractive riverside town of Donauwörth, with time to explore before returning to Rothenburg.

Day 5

Leaving Rothenburg, we travel through the picturesque Tauber Valley, visiting the charming market town of Röttingen and elegant Tauberbischofsheim before continuing to Wiesbaden for our final overnight stay.

After breakfast we begin our homeward journey, travelling through France and Belgium with suitable refreshment stops before crossing the Channel and arriving home.
