Your contract is with Kirbys Coaches Ltd and is subject to our booking conditions. The river cruise element is operated by A-ROSA River Cruises, and their terms and conditions also apply where relevant. Itineraries, vessels, and travel arrangements are subject to change by the cruise operator. Financial protection is provided by BCH ABTOT, membership number 7066, in accordance with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

Day 1

UK to Cologne
Depart the UK and travel to Cologne, Germany, where we board the elegant A-ROSA SILVA. Settle into our cabins, relax and enjoy our first evening on board as we begin our scenic River cruise, surrounded by comfort, excellent cuisine and beautiful views.

Day 2

Cologne to Cochem to Bernkastel-Kues
Arrive late morning in Cochem, one of the Moselle's most popular destinations. Wander through its pretty old town, enjoy riverside views and admire the fairytale Reichsburg Castle overlooking the valley. This afternoon we depart for Bernkastel-Kues.

Day 3

Bernkastel-Kues to Koblenz
Wake up in Bernkastel-Kues. Explore this enchanting wine town, famous for its medieval market square, charming half-timbered houses, narrow lanes and traditional vineyards. This afternoon we sail towards Koblenz.

Day 4

Koblenz to Frankfurt
Arriving early this morning in Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Explore the historic old town, visit the famous Deutsches Eck and enjoy the atmosphere of this fascinating city before we depart for Frankfurt.

Day 5

Frankfurt to Aschaffenburg
Goethe’s birthplace! And where the first German national assembly met in 1848, today the metropolis on the Main is home to the headquarters of major banks and is also known for its many futuristic-looking high-rises buildings. A mid afternoon departure for Aschaffenburg.

Day 6

Aschaffenburg to Mainz
From historic buildings to idyllic nature parks, there is something for everyone to discover, an absolute highlight is Johannisburg Castle - an imposing Renaissance Palace, from its towers, a breathtaking view over the old town and the River Main.

Day 7

Mainz to Cologne
Mainz is not just one of the oldest cities in Germany, see history come alive wherever you turn, or just relax with a leisurely stroll along the tranquil riverbank and enjoy a glass of local wine.

Day 8

Cologne to UK
After breakfast, we disembark in Cologne and begin our journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of our A-ROSA Moselle River cruise.

Continue to the medieval wine town of Bernkastel-Kues, renowned for its half-timbered houses, narrow streets and traditional vineyards, before arriving in the historic city of Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet.

The cruise continues along the Main River to Frankfurt, a fascinating city where historic buildings stand alongside striking modern architecture. From here, sail to Aschaffenburg, home to the magnificent Johannisburg Castle, before visiting Mainz, one of Germany's oldest cities with its attractive old town and riverside promenade.
