Lancashire Festive Foodie

Indulge in this superb Lancashire combo with seasonal cheer aplenty.Visit the impressive Tatton Park, browse the Chester Christmas Market and celebrate in style at a Christmas Party complete with carols, festive feast and mince pies at Oswaldtwistle Mills.

Day 1

Depart home area and travel to Lichfield to obtain lunch. We continue to our hotel and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee whilst our luggage is taken to our room. Time to relax before our 3-course Lancashire themed set menu with a glass of wine followed by a quiz.

Day 2

After breakfast, we make a short journey to the awardwinning Oswaldtwistle Mills which has something to amaze, charm and intrigue visitors of all ages. This former Weaving Mill has over 100 retailers all under one roof. We take our seats at 12 noon for a three course meal with coffee and mints followed by an afternoon of live entertainment. We return to our hotel with time to relax, or make use the hotel leisure facilities.

Day 3

After breakfast we visit the impressive Tatton Park at Christmas. The mansion is beautifully adorned with natural decorations from the estate, adding a lovely scent to the traditional sights. Opportunity to purchase refreshments before our afternoon visit to Chester. The Chester Christmas Market* is set in the heart of Chester with approximately 70 stalls all wrapped around the iconic sparking Christmas tree. Plenty of time to do some Christmas shopping here before returning to our hotel. Tonight there will be a happy hour before our evening meal.

We depart for home area stopping enroute at the National Memorial Arboretum, Staffordshire for lunch to be obtained
