Join us to the most southernly island of the British Isles, located 100 miles south of mainland Britain yet only 14 miles off the coast of France. Let Jersey inspire you. With local food to savour, wide open natural spaces to explore and locals full of pride and passion, you will discover lots of reasons to fall in love with the Island.

Day 1

Travel to our overnight hotel in Bournemouth with time to purchase lunch in Winchester on route, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and shops to browse. Afterwards travel to the Mercure Bournemouth Queens Hotel with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast we head to Poole to catch the ferry over to Jersey (crossing duration approx. 3.5 hours). There are refreshment facilities and duty-free stores on board the ferry. Upon arrival in Jersey, we are met by a local coach which will transfer us to our hotel. Time to freshen up and relax in the lounge area where we ca enjoy a pre-dinner drink before our evening meal.

Day 3

After breakfast we have a full day ‘Around the Island Tour’ where we see Jersey’s beautiful coastline and landscape with majestic cliffs, sandy beaches and rocky coves. We will make several stops for refreshments.

Day 4

Day at leisure in Jersey. Jersey has a convenient ‘Hop On- Hop Off’ bus system and this can be used for independent travel around the island to visit attractions such as the world-famous Durrell Wildlife Park (entry extra). Or spend a relaxing day at the hotel and enjoy many of the hotel leisure facilities.

Day 5

Today we visit Jersey War Tunnels, where we learn, and experience one of the most difficult periods in the Islands history. The story of the German occupation of Jersey is as compelling as it is strange to think that this small area of Britain was occupied by the Nazis and forced to fly the Swastika for five dark years. We also visit La Mare Wine Estate, Jersey’s only vineyard. A unique venue situated in the beautiful Jersey countryside. Experience, relax and refuel in the Vineyard café and maybe treat yourself to a gift from the Cellar Gift shop.

Day 6

After breakfast, we catch our return ferry to Poole. Our coach will meet us and return us to our overnight hotel in Bournemouth. Time to freshen up before our evening meal.

After breakfast we return to our home area making suitable refreshment stops.
