From the lively Tavistock Goose Fair and picturesque Widecombe-in-the-Moor to the dramatic landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor, this carefully planned holiday showcases some of the South West’s most memorable scenery. We’ll also explore the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, visit Minehead and journey through the magnificent Cheddar Gorge.

Horse-Drawn Barge Cruise on the Grand Western Canal

Enjoy a morning at leisure in the historic market town of Tiverton before experiencing a relaxing horse-drawn barge cruise along the Grand Western Canal. Sit back and enjoy the peaceful Devon countryside as the barge travels gently along this picturesque waterway – a wonderfully traditional experience and a highlight of our stay.

Tavistock Goose Fair & Dartmoor

Experience the atmosphere of the famous Tavistock Goose Fair, a tradition with centuries of history. After time to explore, we journey through the spectacular landscapes of Dartmoor National Park, with its rugged moorland, sweeping views and distinctive granite tors.

Our scenic journey continues to the pretty village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, where we stop for afternoon tea at the Café on the Green.

Lynton, Lynmouth & Exmoor National Park

Discover the beautiful neighbouring towns of Lynton and Lynmouth on the North Devon coast. Surrounded by magnificent countryside and dramatic coastal scenery, these charming destinations are a delight to explore.

Our return journey takes us via Minehead and through Exmoor National Park, where rolling moorland meets spectacular coastline, providing wonderful views along the way.

Marlborough & Cheddar Gorge

There is plenty to enjoy on our outward and return journeys too. On our way to Tiverton, we stop in the charming Wiltshire market town of Marlborough, with time to explore its attractive High Street.

On our journey home, we travel via the magnificent Cheddar Gorge, one of Britain’s most impressive natural landmarks. Admire the towering limestone cliffs and dramatic scenery as we travel through this remarkable landscape.

Discover Devon & Exmoor by Coach
