A Devon Seaside Escape

Unwind by the coast and enjoy the best of South Devon on this weekend retreat. Based at the well-located Babbacombe Hotel with its stunning sea views and relaxed atmosphere, you’ll have time to explore the charms of the English Riviera at your own pace – plus the option to join us on an excursion to the historic city of Exeter*.

With scenic coastline walks, peaceful surroundings and leisurely seaside days, this is an ideal short break to recharge, explore and enjoy.

Day 1

We depart for Devon making suitable comfort stops en route. Arrive at the Babbacombe Hotel and settle into our rooms, soak up the beautiful views and relax before our evening meal.

Day 2

A full day at leisure to relax and enjoy Babbacombe and the surrounding area. Visit the charming Model Village, take a ride on the historic cliff railway, or enjoy coastal walks with sweeping sea views. Local cafés and independent shops offer the perfect spots to unwind.

Day 3

*Optional Excursion to Exeter (£15pp - must be pre-booked)
Join our optional trip to the historic city of Exeter - a treasure trove of heritage with its magnificent cathedral, underground passages, and attractive quayside. Alternatively, enjoy a slow morning in Babbacombe or perhaps venture into nearby Torquay at your own pace.

We depart after breakfast and make our way home with pleasant stops along the way.

The Babbacombe Hotel ***

Superb seafront location with spectacular views over Lyme Bay, this welcoming hotel is the perfect base for a relaxing coastal break. Situated on the flat and overlooking beautiful Babbacombe Bay, we can enjoy a friendly atmosphere, comfortable en-suite bedrooms with TV and tea/coffee facilities, a sea-view lounge and bar area, and a restaurant serving hearty traditional meals. There is a lift which serves all floors – ideal for a leisurely and enjoyable stay by the sea.
