COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 Today we travel to Scotland making frequent comfort stops along the way with somewhere suitable for lunch to be purchased. We arrive at the hotel in time to freshen up before our pre-dinner glass of wine reception and evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast, we depart the hotel late morning and head to the Perthshire Visitor Centre for lunch to be purchased. In the afternoon we have a liqueur tasting session before moving onto Pitlochry for free time. Pitlochry is the largest town in Highland Perthshire and it established a reputation for the quality of its air when Queen Victoria’s physician sang its praises back in 1845. Many of the town’s buildings are in the Victorian Scottish Baronial architecture. We arrive back at the hotel allowing time to freshen before our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast we visit Perth. Once upon a time, Perth was the capital of Scotland and a picturesque playground for kings and queens. Today, the city is laced with gorgeous city architecture, unrivalled surrounding landscapes and an intriguing royal history. We have time to purchase lunch here before travelling back to the hotel for our tea/coffee and cream scone. We have time to relax and use the leisure facilities at the hotel this afternoon before our whisky tasting session and evening meal.
DAY 4 After breakfast we join our driver for a scenic coach journey of the Cairngorm National Park travelling via Aviemore, Grantown on Spey and Braemar (please note this is weather permitting).
DAY 5 After breakfast we travel back to our home area with frequent comfort stops along the way, including a stop somewhere suitable for lunch to be purchased.
