COACH HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1 Travel to Gloucester this morning making suitable comfort stops along the way, including a visit to Cirencester, often referred to as ‘The Capital of the Cotswolds’ for lunch to be purchased. Afterwards we continue to the hotel where we have a cup of tea/ coffee on arrival and time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 2 After breakfast travel to Worcester via the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy a 45-minute river cruise from Worcester Quay, cruising through one of Britain’s loveliest cities in the stylish and historic ‘Earl’. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks are available alongside a fully licensed bar. Afterwards, spend the afternoon at leisure in Worcester, a city with a fascinating history of industry, a wealth of architecture and an unrivalled selection of high street stores and independent boutiques. The city is best known for its magnificent Cathedral but is also famous for the world-renowned Worcester Porcelain and the tangy Worcestershire Sauce. Admire the half-timbered buildings in Friar Street and purchase lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants. We return to the hotel later taking the more direct route, arriving in time to freshen up before our evening meal.
DAY 3 After breakfast visit the RHS Malvern Spring Festival which is packed with flowers, food and crafts. The RHS Malvern Spring Festival’s Show Gardens are a real treat for any visitor. Created by top designers, including RHS Gold Medal Winners, the gardens entice, surprise and delight visitor’s year in and year out. The Floral Marquee is home to 70 hand-picked leading nurseries from the UK. We can buy prized blooms and gain top tips on the best plants for our garden from the nursery owners. We have a full day to explore all on offer and there are refreshment facilities available for lunch to be purchased. Arrive back at the hotel late afternoon in time to relax before our evening meal.
DAY 4 After breakfast we check out of the hotel and head for home stopping in Oxford, known as ‘The city of dreaming spires’, for lunch to be purchased.
