Join us on this inspiring holiday visiting some of the most beautiful gardens in South Wales and some of the fantastic coastal towns and villages Pembrokeshire has to offer. Saundersfoot is the ideal base to discover this area. This holiday will leave you feeling positively blooming and refreshed!

Day 1

We depart home area and travel to our hotel in Saundersfoot making suitable refreshment stops.

Day 2

Today we visit the old the oldest town in Wales, Carmarthen, known for its legendary connections to Merlin and its heritage. Re-join the coach to travel to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Here we will find an inspiring range of themed gardens, the world’s largest single-span glasshouse, the British Bird of Prey Centre, a tropical Butterfly House all set in a Regency landscape. Refreshments facilities are available to purchase lunch.

Day 3

Travel along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Britain’s only coastal park with outstanding scenery, to St. Davids, the smallest city in Britain. We continue to Tenby, a town steeped in ancient history surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall.

Day 4

Enjoy time at leisure in Saundersfoot where we can spend time at the beach or look around the town. In the afternoon there is an optional visit to Manor House Wildlife Park - Wales’ only walking safari! Whether you love lemurs, tigers or want to wander with the wallabies (and feed them with your hand!), you can meet the animals as you would find them in the wild (entry £17.95pp, please let us know at time of booking).

Day 5

Visit Aberglasney Gardens, one of Wales’s finest gardens. Discover over 10-acres of magnificent gardens which, with Aberglasney’s Grade II listed mansion, offers a stunning day out.

MERLEWOOD HOTEL, SAUNDERSFOOT **

Situated on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, Merlewood Hotel boasts impressive sea views and an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant serves popular meals and there is a small terrace with outdoor seating. Guests can relax with a drink at the bar before evening meals. Please note: This hotel does not have a lift.
