Amalfi Coast by Air
Plunging theatrically into the depths of the Mediterranean, the vision of pastel towns clinging to rugged cliffs makes the Amalfi Coast unforgettable. The pretty fishing villages and chic towns nestled into the rock face harbour a jumble of fascinating architectural sights and stylish boutiques, and are linked by vertiginous roads with incredible views. The resort of Sorrento is the gateway to the region: handsomely perched on the clifftop of the Sorrentine Peninsula and revered by the Grand Tourists of the 19th century, it still retains its charm despite being one of Italy’s most popular destinations.
Day 1
Depart home area and travel to London Gatwick Airport for our flight to Naples. Karen will help you check in and there will be time to obtain refreshments before your flight (approx. 2 hrs 40 minutes.) Upon arrival at Naples Airport we will be met by a representative from Viaggi Mansi, a specialised tour company on the Amalfi coast, and make our way to our hotel.

Free day to relax in the hotel and the area.
B, DDay 3
Sorrento. Today enjoy a full day excursion to the charming town of Sorrento, famed for its boutiques, grand hotels and lemon groves. Overlooking the Bay of Naples, Sorrento is the perfect place to take a stroll, admiring the palatial buildings, historic monuments and fine views whilst breathing in the romance of the Sorrentine air.
B, DDay 4
Pompeii and Vesuvius. Full day to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Sitting below mighty Vesuvius, the ruins of Pompeii form a time capsule that is almost 2,000 years old. Buried in volcanic ash following an eruption in 79 AD, the ancient streets and villas of this prosperous town have been immaculately preserved, providing an eerie and unique window into Roman life. Entrance to Pompeii and Vesuvius is included.
B, DDay 5
Amalfi Coastal Tour. The best way to experience the beauty of the Amalfi Coast is by road. We follow the winding route, by coach, which surely forms one of the most astonishing drives in Europe. With many picturesque villages we take in views of pretty, pastel-painted Positano and enjoy the maritime charms of hillside Amalfi and admire the elegant gardens of lofty Ravello.

Free day to relax in the hotel and the area.

Today we travel to Naples Airport where we board our return flight to London Gatwick Airport, where our coach will be waiting to meet us to return you to your home area.
